What Is the Purpose of the “Employee Exit” Page?

Modified on Thu, 26 Jun at 9:39 AM

The Employee Exit page is designed to help process employee terminations and resignations, especially when final settlements need to be handled outside the regular payroll cycle.

Example:

If an employee’s last working day is June 15, their final payment—including salary, leave balance, and any other entitlements—must be processed and paid on that date, rather than at the end of the payroll period. The Employee Exit functionality allows for such off-cycle settlements.

What makes it unique is that once the exit is posted, the system automatically deactivates the employee, ensuring that they are no longer included in future payrolls or system processes.
