When trying to generate payroll, I get an error saying “Leave balance has not been processed for all employees”. What should I do?
This error occurs because the system requires updated leave balances for all employees before payroll generation. Each time a new employee is added, their leave balance must be generated so the system can correctly track leave provisions and settlements.
To resolve this:
- Navigate to the Leave Balances page.
- Select the current year.
- Click Process to update all employees’ leave balances.
Once this is done, you will be able to generate payroll without encountering this error.
