When we set up Notice Periods in Magnar, are we bound by them?

No, you are not strictly bound by the configured notice periods in Magnar.

When terminating an employee, the system will automatically suggest a Stop Date (i.e., last working day) based on the configured notice period. However, this date is fully editable—you can move it forward or backward as needed to reflect the actual agreed termination date.

This flexibility allows you to maintain compliance while accommodating real-world scenarios such as mutual agreements or early releases.
