E-Signature

An e-signature or electronic signature is an efficient and legal way to get electronic documents signed quickly. Secure and trusted around the world, e-signatures can replace a handwritten signature in many processes.

In Magnar, we use e-signature in the employee letters in which the managers can sign the documents using the application.


Configuration

Three steps are required to activate the electronic signature:

  • Open DevExpress designer and create a new report
  • Adding the signatures: When you finish the letter, we should add the signature placeholder. The signature placeholder is a label with three particular properties
  • The text inside the label should be “signature”

  • The color of this text should be white.

 

  • The Navigation Target of this label should be “_self”

  • Adding the report to the Employee Letters: Go to Payroll => Setup => EmploymentLetter and then create a new letter with the report that was created.




Electronics signature on Employee Letter

When an employee requests a letter, the system offers the option of an electronic signature before sending.

Go to ESS => ESS Services => Letter Request, and then create a new letter

 

Go to ESS => My Tasks => Letter tasks, in the employee that should sign

Open the task and click on the signature placeholder as below:

 

Then the signature panel will be shown

And then click on the “Add Signature”

Then approve and submit the request. Also, you can upload an image or write a text.

Finally, the letter will be in the letter request and sent to the e-mail of the employee.
