This module is responsible for the employees’ salaries management in addition to the entitled allowances.

Fixed Allowances

Setup the fixed allowances that later on will be granted for each employee. Go to company >> Fixed allowances to open a list of all pre-created allowances with ability to edit and add.

Fields:

  1. Name: name of the allowance
  2. Element: the mapped element that will handle the allowance value on payroll generation
  3. Description: Description about the allowance.

Allowance Calculation

The allowance value on payroll generation will be handled as the output of Fixed Allowances Plugin.

Edit Salaries

Go to company >> Salaries and Allowances, the form involves two tables: Salaries and Allowances.

Salaries:

Select the employee then set the salary amount in the header. In case the employee gets a raise, a new row can be added with setting the below:

  1.  Percentage: in case the raise is percentage from the basic salary then you have to set the percentage and the system calculate the amount automatically in the Amount field.
  2. Effective From: here you can set the date from where the raise will be active.
  3. Is Retroactive: Incase the raise is retroactive, then the date of the raise needs to be set in the “Retroactive From” date. The retroactive amount is handled via Retroactive plugin that collect the total amount from the retroactive date till the generation period.

Allowances:

Here you can set the employee entitled allowances with the values for each employee. The allowances list displays the allowances that have already configured in the Allowances setup as we have mentioned above.
