Overtime Request

Overtime payments in Magnar System should be managed by a workflow approval. Overtime record can be applied directly by authorized user from backend interface or should be submitted as a request for approval from ESS.

Request

ESS >> My request Overtime

The approval workflow should be managed through Workflow Setup. Once the request approved, a new record will be created in the overtime transactions table. Overtimes that are created through the timesheet form appear in the overtime transactions list while ones created in the transactions list do not appear once opening the timesheet form. On payroll generation the plugin aggregates all the overtime transaction created both on timesheet and transactions and release the summation as an output.

General Request

The main reason behind General Request is to provide the user the ability to create different types of approval processes. User can create a general request type then the employees submit requests and the approval, process executes based on the configured approval sequence.

General Request Types

Before starting with using the General Request you should configure the types to be used. To manage General requests types, go to Payroll >> Setups >> General Request Types to open a list of pre-created types.

When creating the “General Request Types” you should select if it is a PDF form or not.

If the user selects “Is PDF Form”, He must upload a Pdf template.

Employee Alter Request

If an employee does not have Edit permission on the Employee master data and wants to apply changes, he can submit a change request, which will go through an approval process, after which the changes will be applied to the employee profile.

Fields Setup

By adjusting the fields in this form, you are choosing which ones are editable and will be available in the request.

Only the selected fields will be editable and exposed to the user in the request

Alter Request

To submit a request, go to ESS >> Employee Edit Request to open the change request form:

As you can see the fields displayed are the same ones selected before in the “Fields Setup”. Once the request is submitted it will pass through approval cycle based on the workflow configuration and once all steps are approved the requested changes will be applied to the employee.

User can select the employee that is going to edit.

To attach a workflow, go to Workflow Mappings and link the configured workflow to the “Employee Edit Request”
